Product Detail
My Car My Cash Refinance is a personal loan for individual car owners seeking to stretch their financial liquidity by refinancing their existing instalments at another financial institution with SCB instead. Upon loan approval, a loan amount will be used for closing your hire-purchase agreement for the car with the previous financial institution (refinancing). Any remaining loan amount after vehicle ownership transfer expenses will be transferred to you, and you will be able to use the car as usual. Loan application is simple, with a quick result and loan availability within 1 business day from the date of complete submission of required documents.
Approved loan amounts of up to 100% of car valuation by SCB or 5 million baht*
Each person has different financial needs. Your car can help stretch your liquidity as much as possible. Loan approval is subject to loan applicant qualifications, and their car’s brand, age, model, and registration year. Vehicles accepted as a pledge are passenger cars, pickup trucks, and vans registered for personal use only.
Interest rates start from 0.25% per month*
Interest rates start from 0.25% per month, calculated from a starting interest rate at 2.99% p.a. for cars registered between 2022 – 2024. Installments are 60 months maximum. (Interest rates and the maximum instalment period are subject to change per SCB announcement).
Average installment amounts start from 58 baht/hundred thousand/day*
To help ease your debt repayments, SCB offers monthly installments starting from 58 baht/hundred thousand/day. The instalment amount is calculated based on an assumption of a loan instalment for a principal amount of 100,000 baht for a passenger car registered in 2022 with a flat interest rate at 5% p.a. (effective rate at 8.96% p.a.) and an instalment period of 84 months (7 years). The monthly instalment would be 1,720 baht (including VAT), and the interest amount throughout the loan agreement period would be 35,000 baht.

Qualification
- Individuals aged between 20 – 60 years old (when combined with an installment period must not exceed 65 years).
- Thai nationality, residing in Thailand.
- Have ownership over a car under an instalment plan with another financial institution.

- A copy of certificate of change in name/family name (if any)

- A copy of your SCB account information page for loan transfer (SCB account only)
Car insurance and car-related documents
- The original copy of the car insurance policy
- A copy of the receipt of the latest instalment payment.
Proof of income
Employees
- The most recent payroll slip or a salary confirmation letter issued by your employer within the past 2 month
- A copy of your payroll account statement for the past 3 months
- A copy of your savings or current account statement for the past 3 months, or 6 months in case of intermittent income
- A copy of a business registration certificate issued within the past 6 month
- A copy of a juristic person registration certificate, Form Bor Or Jor 5 (a list of shareholders), Form Por Por 30 (a summary of buying taxes and selling taxes) issued within the past 6 month
Conditions
Conditions for vehicles to be pledged for a loan
- Loans are available only for passenger cars, pickup trucks, and vans as specified in the vehicle registration book.
- The age of cars pledged must not exceed 15 years. For an installment period of 84 months, the age of cars pledged must not exceed 12 years. A car’s age when combined with an installment period must not exceed 19 years.
- Vehicles accepted as a pledge must be registered for personal use only. Those registered with a transportation or hiring purpose, modified/imported vehicles, and those with engine replacement are not accepted.
Insurance conditions
- If using the existing vehicle insurance policy, the coverage period shall remain no less than 3 months from the loan application date. Insurance conditions are as specified by SCB.
Fees and expenses
- Agreement fees and other expenses shall follow SCB announcements and will be collected from the approved loan amount.

Remarks :
- Interest rates for My Car My Cash Refinance loans are only for applicants with a loan amount approved between 9 October – 31 December 2024.
- Interest rates are subject to change, per SCB announcement.
- A flat interest rate is an interest rate for each instalment. It is calculated on the full principal amount from the loan agreement date throughout the loan period.
- An effective interest rate is calculated from the outstanding principal amount in each instalment. Interest charged is reduced in line with paid instalments.
- The maximum installment period is 84 months.

My Car My Cash promotion conditions: Get Lotus’s gift vouchers worth up to 2,000 baht
- This promotion is exclusively for salaried employees applying for a My Car My Cash loan together with any of the following insurance products: Credit Life, PA Smart, or Sure Life between 16 December 2024 – 31 January 2025, getting loan approval, and drawing down their loan by 28 February 2025.
