My Car My Cash Refinance is a personal loan for individual car owners who are currently making payments through a finance company or other financial institution. If you're looking to improve your liquidity, you can refinance your existing installments at another financial institution with SCB instead.

Loan Structure: Approved funds are split into two parts:
  • One part is used to pay off your existing car loan with your current lender (refinance).
  • The remaining balance (after ownership transfer expenses) is disbursed directly to you.
You retain full ownership and can use your car as usual.

Loan approval is subject to loan applicant qualifications, and their car’s brand, age, model, and registration year. Vehicles accepted as a pledge are passenger cars, pickup trucks, and vans registered for personal use only.

To help ease your debt repayments, SCB offers monthly installments starting from 58 baht/hundred thousand/day. The installment amount is calculated based on an assumption of a loan installment for a principal amount of 100,000 baht for a passenger car registered in 2023 with a flat interest rate of 5% p.a. (effective rate: 8.96% p.a.) and an installment period of 84 months (7 years). The monthly installment amount is 1,720 baht, with a total interest amount of 35,000 baht over the loan term.

Qualification

  • Individuals aged between 20 – 60 years old (when combined with an installment period must not exceed 65 years).
  • Thai nationality, residing in Thailand.
  • Have ownership over a car under an instalment plan with another financial institution.

Document Required

  • A copy of your ID card
  • A copy of certificate of change in name/family name (if any)

SCB passbook

  • A copy of your SCB account information page for loan transfer (SCB account only)

Car insurance and car-related documents

  • The original copy of the car insurance policy
  • A copy of the receipt of the latest instalment payment.

Proof of income

Employees

  • The most recent payroll slip or a salary confirmation letter issued by your employer within the past 2 month
  • A copy of your payroll account statement for the past 3 months
Business owners
  • A copy of your savings or current account statement for the past 3 months, or 6 months in case of intermittent income
  • A copy of a business registration certificate issued within the past 6 month
  • A copy of a juristic person registration certificate, Form Bor Or Jor 5 (a list of shareholders), Form Por Por 30 (a summary of buying taxes and selling taxes) issued within the past 6 month

Conditions

Conditions for vehicles to be pledged for a loan

  • Loans are available only for passenger cars, pickup trucks, and vans as specified in the vehicle registration book.
  • The age of cars pledged must not exceed 15 years. For an installment period of 84 months, the age of cars pledged must not exceed 12 years. A car’s age when combined with an installment period must not exceed 19 years.
  • Vehicles accepted as a pledge must be registered for personal use only. Those registered with a transportation or hiring purpose, modified/imported vehicles, and those with engine replacement are not accepted.

Insurance conditions

  • If using the existing vehicle insurance policy, the coverage period shall remain no less than 3 months from the loan application date. Insurance conditions are as specified by SCB.

Fees and expenses

  • Agreement fees and other expenses shall follow SCB announcements and will be collected from the approved loan amount.

  • Interest rates for My Car My Cash Refinance loans are only for applicants with a loan amount approved between October 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025.
  • Interest rates are subject to change, per SCB announcement.
  • A flat interest rate is an interest rate for each instalment. It is calculated on the full principal amount from the loan agreement date throughout the loan period.
  • An effective interest rate is calculated from the outstanding principal amount in each instalment. Interest charged is reduced in line with paid instalments.
  • The maximum installment period is 84 months.
