What a chic city and it makes me want to go. It’s Tak province, indeed. Many people may know Tak because of Thi Lor Su Waterfall, one of the world most beautiful waterfall. In fact, the natural resources of this province are available for unlimited searches because it is a city of mist and important upstream. It’s one of the largest forests in the country so how can we will not visit this province. Just find your free time an come visit Tak, you will be charmed for sure.

The Bhumibol Dam was constructed across the Ping River at Khao Kaeo Sub-district and Sam Ngao District of Tak Province. The dam was constructed in 1958 and completed in 1964. The dam is the first and largest multipurpose concrete arch dam in Thailand. It has provided great benefits to the country including electrical generation, irrigation in collaboration with the Sirikit Dam for the areas under the Greater Chao Phraya Project of 1,200,000 ha in the wet season and 480,000 ha in the dry season, flood mitigation of the Central Plain, inland navigation as well as prevention of sea water intrusion in the lower Chao Phraya and Tha Chin river basin The weather is cool there so the popular activities for tourists are diverse. Whether walking or swimming at Hua Hin beach, which stretches along the Ping River. If you want to swim in water, there is a swim ring for rent. Or you can rent a canvas seat to sit down and relax there. Or to raft with a tow boat or cruise through the tourist attractions. Alternatively, you can choose to hike to see the natural and landscapes of the Ping River. There is also a lovely coffee shop called Bed Bar Coffee and the back area is also accommodation service as well.

Thi Lor Su Waterfall is the waterfall that well known about it beautiful some said this waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand. Thi Lor Su Waterfall is a limestone waterfall with a height of 300 meters and a width of about 500 meters, located in Um Phang Wildlife Sanctuary, Um Phang District, Tak Province. The waterfall is a stream of water flowing from Huay Cot Thuot through the creek that flows through the steep cliffs. A loud rumbling sound in the rainforest.

According to Thi Lor Su Travel guide there are nearby waterfall surround the area such as Lor Jor Waterfall, Rainbow Waterfall, Pa Charearn Waterfall and Lor Lei Waterfall. Some of these waterfall has to travel by foot or rubber boat depend on suggestion from Wildlife Sanctuary HQ. Aside from waterfall there are some activity tourist can participate include Rubber boat trip, Cave survey, and Take a good view at some view point.In rain season the sanctuary will be close in order to keep vehicle out of the forest so wild life will not be bother from outsider.

Then I go the other waterfall. The dream waterfall that hard to get there but many people still want to visit. This waterfall has a strange name Pitu Gro or Pe Tor Lor Su. It is located on the mountain in Umphang wildlife sanctuary as well. It’s the highest waterfall in Thailand with 500 meters height. The most famous and most beautiful level is the heart level. The left and right waterfall flows together into a large V-shaped and create the white curtain water look and then people imagined that it’s a heart. So it got the nickname heart-shaped waterfall.

Traveling to this waterfall is quite difficult as same as go to Ti Lor Su  waterfall.Travelors must go on foot and stay overnight in the forest. The tent can be camped at the bottom of the hill near the waterfall. In the morning, walk to Doi Sam Muen to see the panoramic view of the waterfall. On the way tourists will be immersed in the beauty of the endless lectures until arrive Pe Tor Lor Su Waterfall. It is a worth reward to be exchanged for tough journey.

Kad Tatong or called in Thai Talad Tongchom is a retro pedestrian street on the banks of the Ping River that depicts the traditional culture and way of life of the villagers. It is a new tourist attraction and a source of income for the community as well.Welcome the tourists to visit, eat, take pictures and share them on social media. Watch the life of the villagers and beautiful scenery, take a walk on the bamboo bridge to visit the Ping River and taste delicious local food. In 1 month, the market will open only 2 rounds, the first Saturday - Sunday of the month. And Saturday - Sunday the third of the month from 3 pm onwards. If you time don’t miss the opportunity to  to visit here.

The bridge was constructed in 1982 A.D. in celebration of the Bangkok Bicentennial. It is a suspension bridge with a wooden deck running about 400 metres across the Ping River and linking Ban Nong Laung on the east bank with Ban Pa Mamuang on the west bank. o traffic allowed across the bridge at present. This is a starting point of the Krathong Sai during the Loi Krathong FestivalEvening sunset here is the most beautiful and romantic spot in Tak. Especially in the night when the lights turn on and the light is cut to the water make it more beautiful. In addition nearby area is also a royal park with a beautiful landscape that nice to see. You can walk to breath the fresh air and there is also a shopping market where you can enjoy the shopping.

Trok Ban Chin (also spelt Jeen, meaning “Chinese Village Alley”), a narrow brick lane that diverges slightly to the west of the main road. The Thai- and Sino-European-style teakwood houses are among the oldest and most beautiful that we’ve seen.
 

Several attractive heritage houses have been preserved in the historic southern end of Tak town, including a former governor’s residence now housing the Tak Museum. Follow that up with a walk down Trok Ban Chin and you’ll get an intriguing glimpse into what the town was like more than a century ago. Trok Ban Chin (also spelt Jeen, meaning “Chinese Village Alley”), a narrow brick lane that diverges slightly to the west of the main road. The Thai- and Sino-European-style teakwood houses are among the oldest and most beautiful that we’ve seen anywhere 

The best part about the Tak Museum is probably the restored house itself: a large 150-year-old teakwood structure with delicate woodcarvings, original floors and more open-air windows than we could count. It served as residence for several Tak governors and King Bhumibol stayed here with Queen Sirikit at some point during the second half of the 20th century.An upstairs section exhibits portraits of every Tak governor dating back to the mid-19th century along with a captivating black-and-white portrait of King Taksin that’s so detailed it can be mistaken for a photograph. There’s also a traditional Thai bedroom, shrine room and office, all containing several striking antiques, including Buddha images, grandfather clocks and early Rattanakosin-era furnishings.

Doi Montha or Doi Loan located in Taksin National Park.This beautiful mountain just recently known for tourists. It is a new attraction for people who like to invade and want to soak up the natural touch. The highlight of this is at the top of the hill overlooking the panoramic landscape where you can see the full nature. If the weather is good, you can see the thick mist that extends over the hills.

There are also tents and resorts for those who want to stay overnight and watch the moon and see the sunrise. If anyone wants to visit should contact the staff of the Taksin National Park before traveling. After a sightseeing tour you can visit the monastery of Doi Montha to pay homage to Luang Por Tan Jai, who is enshrined at the top of the hill for blessing. This monastery is close to Doi Musur Market where has good atmosphere as well.

Now there are 2 Doi Musur Markets the old market and the new market that just 1 kilometer apart from each other but on the opposite of the road. Items that are sold will look similar. It is a collection of agricultural products native to the hill tribe people.Such as fresh vegetables, seasonal fruits, avocados, strawberries, brown rice, brown rice, chili paste, fried pork, fried pork, souvenir. All product is affordable price for tourists and local people to shop happily. It is the largest tribal market in Thailand and vibrant throughout the day.

The charm of Doi Musa market is that the merchants are courteous and speak local language and dressed in a native dress. After done with shopping and don’t forget to visit the Black Musur Museum.

Located on the magnificent Mae Sot, Mae Sariang Highway No. 1085 at Km. 95-96, this cave boasts an underworld of natural wonders. Inside the cave is striking stalactites and stalagmites formations. The  walkway  is quite convenient and there are 3 rooms with large size, high ceilings and clear air. Each room will have stalactites and stalagmites in a strange shape, but beautiful to see. The highlight of the cave is located in the second room on the west side, which has a large stone hollow in the afternoon when the light is splashed to the beautiful yellow light is very attractive. To visit this cave, there will be a staff guide you. It takes about an hour. Mae Asu cave is only available for winter and dry season. Due to the rainy season, the water in the cave is so high that it can not enter the cave.

The area of Wat Phra Boromthat in Amphoe Ban Tak is the former site of Ancient Tak City lying along the bank of Maenam Ping, approximately 25 kilometers north of the City, the site contains several ruins including the legendary hill-top pagoda in Phum Khao Binth style (of Sukhothai era). The pagoda was built by King Ramkhamhaeng the Great to mark his victory in the hand-to-hand combat on the elephants back against King Khun Sam Chon, the ruler of Muang Chot (currently Amphoe Mae Sot). The pagoda shares Myanmar's famous Chawedagong's features and houses holy Buddha relics. Locally known as the royal pagoda or Chedi Yutta Hatthi, it is located next to Wat Phra Boromthat. The temple (Wat Phra Boromthat) itself is extraordinary with wooden door panels and roof decorations that are magnificently crafted. In addition, the story of the Lord Buddha is depicted on the temples wooden window panels, which are covered in real gold.
