Processes

1. Steps required by customers at Term Sabuy Plus vending machines

  • Press “Account Opening/SIM Opening/KYC”
  • Press “Account Opening/KYC”
  • Press “KYC”
  • Press “SCB KYC”
  • Read e-KYC terms and conditions and press “Accept”.
  • Insert your ID card at the card reader.
  • Remove your ID card from the card reader.
  • Read e-KYC terms and conditions again and press “Accept”.
  • Look at the camera to compare your face.
  • Proceed with the following steps:
    • Set a temporary PIN for opening an account on the SCB EASY App.
    • Confirm the temporary PIN for opening an account on the SCB EASY App.
  • Customers will receive an SMS when the processes are completed and can proceed to open an account via the SCB EASY App.

Term Sabuy Plus Vending Machine

Provides e-KYC for opening an SCB savings account at more than 13,000 Term Sabuy Plus vending machines nationwide.

    • Mobile number
    • Temporary PIN for opening an account via the SCB EASY app

Service Terms and Conditions

 

  • Services available 24 hours
  • The SCB Easy app account opening feature is accessible between 07:00 and 22:30 hours.
  • Information validated via the SCB EASY ID channel is valid for three days. If the period is exceeded, clients must undergo e-KYC again.
  • Current SCB customers who are eligible for e-KYC service must meet the following requirements:
    • Never had a savings account before, but using other financial services, or had a deposit account that is inactive and has a zero-dollar balance. And
    • Customer’s name and mobile phone number match those in the Bank’s records.
