You can present your ID document and passbook (for an account with a physical passbook) for identity authentication to have your personal information updated at any SCB branch.

I want to freeze my account/bank card. What should I do?

You can call the SCB Call Center at 02-777-7777 and then press 1.

I want a document related to my savings account. What should I do?

You can request a document as follows:

An account information page for an e-passbook

A copy of the account information page for an e-passbook is available at no fee via the following channels:
At an SCB branch
· Present your ID document at any SCB branch.

SCB Easy Net

· Select a deposit account you want
· Click “Print 1st Page of Deposit Passbook.”

Withholding tax certificate for the interest paid to your deposit account

A withholding tax certificate for the interest paid to your deposit account is available at no fee via the following channels:

At an SCB branch

· For an account with a physical passbook: Present your ID document and passbook at any SCB branch.

· For an account with an e-passbook or online account: Present your ID document at any SCB branch.

SCB Call Center

· Call the SCB Call Center at 02-777-7777 to request the document, which will be sent to your e-mail address within 1 business days after we have received your request.

Statement of financial position to support your visa application or study abroad

A statement of financial position is available at an issuance fee of 100 baht/copy via the following channels:

At an SCB branch

· For an account with a physical passbook: Present your ID document and passbook at any SCB branch.

· For an account with an e-passbook or online account: Present your ID document at any SCB branch.

SCB Call Center

· Call the SCB Call Center at 02-777-7777 to request the document, which will be sent by registered mail within 3-4 business days after we have received your request. (EMS is subject to an additional fee of 100 baht.)

Statement

For customers having an SCB savings, fixed deposit, current, or term-deposit, a statement is available upon your request at any SCB branch.

A statement for a period within the past 6 months is subject to an issuance fee of 100 baht/account/request.

A statement for a period further than the past 6 months is subject to an issuance fee of 200 baht/account/request.

· For an account with a physical passbook: Present your ID document and passbook at any SCB branch.

· For an account with an e-passbook or online account: Present your ID document at any SCB branch.

e-Statement via the SCB Easy Application

An e-statement is available at the SCB Easy application as per the following steps:

1. Select “My Deposits”

2. Select the account that you want an e-statement.

3. Select “More services.”

4. Select “Request statement.”

5. Select a period for your e-statement.

6. Tap “Submit”

An e-statement will be sent to your e-mail address as specified in the SCB Easy application.

I want to close a savings account. What should I do?

You can present your ID document and passbook to close your savings account at any SCB branch.

Why the status of my savings/current account is Dormant?

It is because there have been no movement in the account for 12 consecutive months.

How to change the status of my savings/current account from Dormant to Active?

At an SCB branch

· You can present your ID document and passbook (for an account with a physical passbook) to make a transaction at any SCB branch.


At any ATM of any bank

· Make a withdrawal, fund transfer, or payment transaction with your ATM or debit card at the ATM.


SCB Easy Application/SCB Easy Net

· Make a transaction via the SCB Easy Application/SCB Easy Net.

After making a transaction, your account status will be updated to Active on the following day.

How much are account maintenance fees?

Savings account

· 50 baht/month upon no account movement for 12 consecutive months and account balance ≤ 2,000 baht


Current account

· 100 baht/month upon no account movement for 12 consecutive months and account balance ≤ 2,000 baht
