Siam Commercial Bank enhances quality of life through 'Happy and Healthy People' Project, offering eye surgery and dental treatments at Nakhon Pathom Hospital
Siam Commercial Bank has joined hands with the Crown Property Bureau and the Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital to spearhead a "Happy and Healthy People" initiative.
This project aims to deliver vital public health services, specifically eye surgeries and dental treatments, to improve the quality of life for residents in provincial areas where specialized medical practitioners are scarce.
The event saw the participation of 571 individuals, with 270 of them undergoing eye surgery and 301 receiving dental care at Nakhon Pathom Hospital in Nakhon Pathom Province. Additionally, the Bank held a
"Thai Kids Do Good"
activity during the event.
Ms. Lackana Leelayouthyotin,
a Member of the Corporate Social Activities Committee, and
Ms. Araya Phuphanich,
First Executive Vice President of the CSR Function at Siam Commercial Bank, visited and provided encouragement to those undergoing eye surgery. Furthermore, dedicated bank employees from the Nakhon Pathom and Samut Sakhon Area Offices volunteered their time to assist and support patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Those interested in contributing to the restoration of vision and the happiness of cataract patients and their families through the 'Happy and Healthy People' project can participate in the “One Eye, One Kindness” initiative. Simply scan the QR Code using your mobile banking application from any bank to make an e-donation. Your support will aid volunteer doctors in deploying mobile units to provide comprehensive and equitable cataract patient care. Each donation is eligible for a one-time tax deduction, and donors who contribute 8,000 baht for one eye surgery can request a certificate by calling 08 3811 1111.
