SCB Named “Bank of the Year 2025” for the 17th Time, Led by Kris Chantanotoke’s Team for Third Consecutive Win

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has once again demonstrated the success of its “Digital Bank with Human Touch” strategy, winning the prestigious “Bank of the Year 2025” award at the Money & Banking Awards 2025, hosted by Money & Banking Magazine. This marks the third consecutive year (2023–2025) and the 17th time SCB has received this honor, reflecting its strong performance throughout 2024. Mr. Kris Chantanotoke, Chief Executive Officer of SCB, accepted the award from Dr. Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput, Governor of the Bank of Thailand, and Mr. Santi Viriyarungsarit, Chairman Editor of Money & Banking Magazine, at a recent ceremony.

SCB’s strong performance over the past three years can be attributed to its “Digital Bank with Human Touch” strategy, which seamlessly integrates the AI-First Bank approach. By leveraging AI technology and data analytics, SCB develops products that are deeply aligned with customer needs. Combined with the personalized service provided by its staff, which is one of the bank’s core strengths, SCB delivers a seamless financial experience across all channels. This strategic approach has driven consistently strong results. As of 2024 and into 2025, SCB continues to maintain a double-digit return on equity (ROE), the highest among Thai banks, along with the best cost-to-income ratio in the sector. Additionally, SCB is a leader in sustainable finance, having issued loans and bonds totaling over 180 billion baht between 2023 and the first half of 2025, exceeding its original target of 150 billion baht for the 2023–2025 period.
