SCB hosts 3-day ESG bootcamp to enhance modern SME skills, boosting opportunities for sustainable growth

           Siam Commercial Bank successfully hosted a 3-day ESG Bootcamp project tailored for 40 SME entrepreneurs. The participants comprised 15 industrial companies, 14 retail and wholesale businesses, and 11 service-oriented enterprises. This comprehensive initiative aimed to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to glean insights from successful peers who have adeptly integrated business concepts within the realms of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG), fostering sustainable business growth.

              Over the course of the event, participants engaged in various workshop activities and received personalized guidance on crafting their business plans. The focus extended to designing ESG projects, imparting knowledge on curbing greenhouse gas emissions to achieve net-zero targets. The program sought to empower entrepreneurs to translate theoretical concepts into tangible results, propelling their businesses toward sustainable growth. Ms. Kongkaew Boonprasit, First Senior Vice President of the SME Banking Office at Siam Commercial Bank, honored the occasion by presenting certificates to all 40 participating companies, acknowledging their commitment to the ESG Bootcamp project.
